تهران-ایرنا- نتایج یک مطالعه جدید نشان داده است که سیگار کشیدن مادر به کبد جنین آسیب می زند و این آسیب در جنین های دختر و پسر متفاوت است.
به گزارش روز سه شنبه گروه علمی ایرنا از پایگاه اینترنتی بی.بی.سی نیوز، محققان در این مطالعه متوجه شدند که ترکیب مواد شیمیایی موجود در سیگار به ویژه برای سلول های کبدی در حال رشد مضر هستند.
محققان دانشگاه ادینبورگ در این تحقیق با استفاده از سلول های بنیادی جنینی، روشی برای مطالعه اثرات سیگار کشیدن مادر بر بافت کبد ابداع کردند.
آنها در این مطالعه همچنین متوجه شدند که مواد شیمیایی موجود در سیگار تاثیر متفاوتی بر جنین های دختر و پسر دارد.
محققان دانشگاه ادینبورگ در مطالعه خود از سلول های بنیادی پرتوان (pluripotent)- سلول هایی که توانایی تبدیل شدن به سایر انواع سلول را دارند - برای ساخت بافت کبد جنینی استفاده کردند؛ سپس سلول های کبدی را در معرض مواد شیمیایی مضر موجود در سیگار از جمله مواد خاصی قرار دادند که مشخض شده است این مواد حین سیگار کشیدن مادر، در خون جنین جریان می یابند.
نتیجه تحقیق این بود که ترکیب مواد شیمیایی - مشابه ترکیبی که در سیگار وجود دارد- بیش از یک به یک این مواد به سلامت کبد جنین آسیب می زند.
سیگار حاوی حدود هفت هزار ماده شیمیایی است و می تواند به اندام های جنین آسیب هایی چه بسا پایدار بزند.
کبد اندامی حیاتی برای پاکسازی مواد سمی در بدن است و نقش بزرگی در تنظیم سوخت و ساز ایفا می کند.
یافته های تحقیق اخیر همچنین بر اثرات متفاوت دود سیگار بر کبد جنین های دختر و پسر تاکید داشت.
بر اساس نتایج این مطالعه، بافت کبدی جنین پسر بر اثر قرار گرفتن در معرض دود سیگار اسکار کبدی نشان داد، اما در جنین دختر آسیب بیشتری به سوخت و ساز سلولی وارد شد.
